The MAC established the MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) in August 2002 to bring industry and community representatives together to address aircraft noise issues at MSP and to bring policy recommendations to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.  The NOC is co-chaired by one of its appointed Industry Representatives and one of its appointed Community Representatives.

The Co-chairs are elected each year by the NOC membership. During the November 16, 2011 NOC meeting Mr. Jeff Hart, Delta Air Lines, was elected as the Industry Representative Co-Chair.

The MSP Noise Oversight Committee meets bi-monthly on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months. Meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. and are held at the MAC's General Offices Building.  Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings.  Check our calendar for details.

Persons wishing to speak during the Public Comment Period of a Noise Oversight Committee meeting must contact their Committee representative prior to the meeting.  Use the NOC Public Input Form to contact your representative.  The Public Comment Period of a Committee meeting is for items not on the meeting agenda.
