The MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) is an advisory board to the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), and is comprised of industry and community representatives who address aircraft noise issues related to activity at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). The group meets bi-monthly on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months.
The NOC met on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 1:30pm at the MAC General Office Building (6040 28th Avenue South, Minneapolis). Topics covered during this meeting included: Review of Monthly Operations Report - July and August 2015; Presentation - Airport Planning, by the Metropolitan Council; MSP Converging Runway Operations; MSP 2035 Long-term Comprehensive Plan Update; Nighttime Operations Update; Sunfish Lake Mobile Noise Monitoring Study; Draft 2015 NOC Work Plan; and Review of the July 22, 2015 Public Input Meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to attend NOC meetings. Members of the public who wish to speak during the Public Comment Period of a NOC meeting must make arrangements with their NOC representative prior to the meeting.
