The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) is an advisory board to the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), and is comprised of industry and community representatives who address aircraft noise issues associated with activity at MSP. The group meets bi-monthly on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months.
The last NOC meeting of 2016 was held on November 16, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) General Offices. The agenda included an update on turboprop departures over Mendota Heights; an update on the Consent Decree, a presentation on the FAA Center of Excellence/ASCENT, TRB, and FICAN Research Initiatives; as well as a viewing of the new MSP Airport Noise Basics Video Part 1.
