Noise at the Reliever Airports

St. Paul Downtown

St. Paul Downtown Airport is located only five minutes from the business center of St. Paul. The airport has been developed to meet the needs of corporate and business aviation and has several commercial fixed based operators providing a full range of services.

The St. Paul Downtown Airport Noise Abatement Plan was developed by the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) Noise Program to promote aircraft operations and procedures that help reduce noise impacts for residents living nearby.

The St. Paul Downtown Airport Advisory Council consists of community representatives, airport representatives and government representatives to foster a balanced and cooperative approach to achieving several goals. The Noise Programs Office provides technical support for this group. More information can be found on the community outreach page for the reliever airports.
