Runway Closure Report
Runway
closures and construction at an airport can have a significant impact on how it
operates and where aircraft are directed. When one or more of the runways are
closed, more operations will be pushed to the open runways, which inevitably changes
where aircraft are flying in the sky.
This page is designed to assist residents in determining whether any construction projects or field conditions may have an effect on what they are experiencing.
Click on the map to the left to determine how each of the runways is designated. The 12R/30L runway is referred to as the south parallel runway, the 12L/30R runway is referred to as the north parallel runway, the 4/22 runway is referred to as the crosswind runway, and the 17/35 runway is referred to as the north/south runway. After identifying the runway or runways that affect your neighborhood, look below for runway closure information. For instance, operations on runway 4/22 mainly affect parts of east Bloomington and the Highland Park area of St. Paul.
