Preliminary New Noise Mitigation Program Schedule

MAC is in the preliminary stages of finalizing the new noise mitigation program and schedule with many details yet to resolve. The current estimated work schedule for the 2007 mitigated 63-64 DNL project (first phase of the project) is outlined below:

Below is a preliminary schedule that is subject to further refinement, homeowner orientation meetings will begin in April of 2008 and Indoor Air Quality testing will begin shortley thereafter. Homeowners are invited into the program by MAC based upon their location on a noise impact priority map. The invitation from MAC is a letter sent on MAC letterhead that also includes a pre-construction information survey. Homeowners may choose voluntarily whether or not they want to participate in the program as a part of the pre-construction survey responses. Program orientation meetings are held each month for those homeowners whose properties have advanced to the invitation step and who have decided to participate in the program. At the orientation meeting homeowners will be provided information regarding indoor air quality, design, the program work agreement, construction, anticipated schedule and other aspects of the program.
