MSP Reports on the Fly
The MAC Noise Program Office publishes aircraft noise and flight tracking data for public use. Select from the drop down menu below to list the data viewing options, including runway use, aircraft type and noise data for any desired day within the available date range. When viewing aircraft types, it is important to know that as of January 1, 2016, Stage 2 aircraft types are required by federal law to meet Stage 3 noise standards.
We're happy to help with any questions you may have about any of the data viewing options or the data itself. Feel free to contact the MAC Noise Program Office staff during regular business hours by calling 612-726-9411.
Please note: there are occasions when flight tracking and/or aircraft noise data are not available. These occasions are described below. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience these missing data may cause.
- ● One of our noise monitoring towers, RMT #11, located in St. Paul is being relocated. This RMT is temporarily disassembled due to construction on the property where the RMT was located. As a result, data for RMT 11 are not available beyond July 17, 2016. We anticipate the relocation of RMT will be completed in 2017.
- ● Flight Tracking data are unavailable at the following times: March 12, 2014 from 11 p.m. to 7:50 a.m. on March 13, 2014; March 11, 2013 from 10:44 a.m. - 1:17 p.m.; November 24, 2012 from 3:40-9:08 a.m.; November 7, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 p.m.; and September 12, 2012 from 5:37 - 8:16 p.m.
