New MAC Stakeholder Engagement LeadershipPosted on May 16, 2019
Two new leadership appointments recently took place in support of the Metropolitan Airports Commission’s (MAC) newly created Stakeholder Engagement Department.
Dana Nelson became the Director of Stakeholder Engagement earlier this year and Brad Juffer the role of Manager of Community Relations in May. These new positions are part of an expanded community engagement effort that includes a broad range of issues involving aircraft activity, customer service, and community outreach associated with Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) as well as the full system of reliever airports owned by the MAC.
Dana has worked for the MAC since December 2009; most recently she served as the Manager of Noise, Environment & Planning. Her aviation education, project management skills, and technical expertise were useful during her involvement with various MSP stakeholder groups, especially as Technical Advisor for the MSP Noise Oversight Committee.
Brad joined the MAC in 2015 as the Assistant Manager of Noise, Environment & Planning. Drawing on his education and experience in aircraft noise and operations, Brad has been able to build relationships with local community neighbors and airport users. This background is helping to shape the foundation for the new Stakeholder Engagement Department.
Members of the public may contact Dana or Brad through the contact tools available on the metroairports.org website or by calling 612-726-9411.
