Lake Elmo Airport (21D)
21D is conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers. It is an easy drive from 21D to the St. Paul business district or to scenic destinations along the St. Croix River, such as Stillwater, MN and Hudson, WI.
There is one fixed base operator established at 21D, providing aircraft maintenance, supplies, fuel and pilot services.
21D is open for aircraft use 24 hours per day. The airfield consists of approximately 640 acres and has two runways: Runway 14/32 which is 2,850' x 75', and Runway 4/22 which measures 2,497' x 75'. Pilots use common traffic advisory procedures flying to and from the airport, which has no air traffic control tower.

The 21D Noise Abatement Plan was developed to promote use of voluntary aircraft operating procedures that help reduce noise impacts and overflights for the existing residential areas near 21D.
